A Cloudless Blue Day
While walking through the Homestead one day admiring the beautiful cloudless day,you came upon a field you had never before visited.The grass was tall and golden with small but colorful wildflowers dotting the landscape here and there.At first sight the field seemed empty but suddenly a small black figure arose from the waving grasses and charged you.
You barely had time to move aside as the charging animal flew by you....whirled....and charged again.
This time you stood your ground and the small creature stopped within inches of your nose.You had a second before the small figure spoke to realize it was one of the creatures known as a paint unicorn.With a whinny and toss of his small head he said,"Who are you and why are you here?"
A bit surprised at the challenging tone of voice and his stance you answered,"Well I am a visitor here at the homestead and wandered here quite by mistake.I am sorry if I have offended you and wish no confrontation."
As the small figure eyed you with distrust,a small voice came from among the tall grasses and called "Enril...it is okay...I sense no danger here."
You looked around in surprise and noticed another small figure arising out of the grass.While the one called Enril was dark and quite a whirlwind this one was blue and very much the calmer of the two.
Enril looked back and said "Are you sure Dier...you know I can protect us both?"
With a neigh..Dier said "Yes...Enril I am sure."
With a last look at Dier....Enril turned and apologized.
You nodded your acceptance and said "Apology accepted and I hope I did not startle you too much.I was just passing through and meant no harm walking through these lovely fields."
Both Enril and Dier neighed loudly and both assured you no harm was done and that if you wanted to walk through at any time they did not mind.
With that said you all resumed your seperate ways.
